Hi, I'm Anna Sofrona —
Software engineer.
Independent product builder.
I build reliable backend systems in my day job, and independently design, build, and ship my own products end to end — from concept and UX to architecture and release.

Products I've designed and shipped
Pulse
Website & API monitoring platform
A monitoring platform that checks the health, uptime, and performance of websites and APIs, and turns raw check results into clear signal on a live dashboard.
theundo
Everyday task management, without the overhead
Product Concept · UI Design · Full-Stack Development
Designed and built independently from concept to production.
A focused to-do app for iPhone and Android built around one idea: capture a thought in plain language and get an organized task back, with no account and no setup required.
Cosy Coloring Corner
A coloring brand and content platform
A production content and commerce site for an original coloring brand — a storefront, an evergreen blog, free downloadable content, and an interactive in-browser coloring experience.
Experience
Where I've worked
Mid-Level Software Engineer
Jul 2022 — PresentOpenbet Hellas
- Delivered customer-specific platform features across the full development lifecycle, from technical analysis through implementation and release.
- Supported production releases and high-traffic event monitoring, including major international sporting events, keeping the platform stable through peak load.
- Contributed to CI/CD and deployment tooling using Jenkins, Docker-based test environments, and RPM-based deployments across multiple environments.
- Built internal tooling to automate post-deployment validation — version verification and log parsing — cutting down manual deployment checks.
- Supported new engineer onboarding as a buddy and collaborated with cross-functional teams to scope and deliver customer requirements.
Full-Stack Engineer
Nov 2021 — Jul 2022Multiapp Solutions
- Built travel-industry web solutions, including an analytics dashboard for a travel agency and booking engines for multiple ferry companies.
- Created high-fidelity UI/UX prototypes and worked directly with clients to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Web Developer
Oct 2020 — Nov 2021Winmasters
- Contributed to development and maintenance of the Affiliate Platform, plus design and prototyping for the next-generation Winmasters platform.
- Ran UAT and release validation, working with external frontend teams to troubleshoot issues and support feature releases.
Beyond the code
I don't just implement features.
I build products.
I enjoy taking an idea through the entire journey — understanding the problem, designing the interface, making technical decisions, building the system, and shipping it.
Product thinking
What should we build — and why?
Design
How should it look, feel, and behave for the person using it?
Engineering
How should it work, scale, and remain maintainable?
Shipping
How do we turn it into something people can actually use?
Design lives inside the pipeline, not outside it
Build log
Continuous shipping, in short entries.
A running log of what's changed across the products above — not a highlight reel, just what actually shipped.
Open source / experiments
Smaller things, out in the open.
All repositoriesTools, libraries, and experiments I build outside of the three products above — mostly to learn something or scratch an itch.
A lightweight CLI for automated post-deployment verification.
An early, still-rough exploration of containerized monitoring and health-check tooling.
A lightweight CSS library for devs, with a small live demo.
A simple cross-platform notes app — CRUD over Firebase, built with Flutter.
A small anonymous overlay network, built in Python to learn how proxy layers work.

Have something worth building?
I'm always interested in engineering problems with real constraints — and in meeting people building their own things.
